Design history

The RT, or Regent III, was a defining London bus of the post-war era. Its moquette design dates from 1946 and uses a tartan-style arrangement of red, black, green and brown stripes. Developed for the demanding environment of everyday bus travel, the pattern now brings a distinctive element of London's design heritage into interiors.
