A genuine Rail Tags Class 86/2 souvenir made using reclaimed metal from British Rail electric locomotive 86 251, ‘The Birmingham Post’. The metal tag features a detailed engraving of the locomotive and is presented on its original Rail Tags backing card, with a metal keyring loop.

Built in 1965 as part of the British Rail AL6 fleet, the locomotive later carried the Class 86/2 designation. The original Rail Tags card records its withdrawal in October 2002 and scrapping in January 2023.

Genuine recycled railway metal: This is an authentic piece of the locomotive rather than a reproduction. Signs of age, wear and variation in the original metal are part of its character.

Extremely limited: One in stock at Shed Number 2. The original Rail Tags release has sold out, and we cannot obtain further pieces.
