Carry a piece of Merseyside railway history
This genuine British Rail Class 507 Railtag has been crafted from metal recovered from retired Merseyrail electric trains 507003, 507023 and 507029. Each engraved metal tag celebrates the distinctive Class 507 units and comes on its original Rail Tags presentation card with a metal keyring fastening.
Known as the Merseyside Stalwart, the Class 507 entered Merseyrail service on 1 November 1978. Built at British Rail Engineering Limited's Holgate Road Carriage Works between 1978 and 1980, the fleet was refurbished at Alstom Eastleigh between 2002 and 2005. The original packaging records the withdrawal and scrapping of the donor units during 2023–2025 as the Class 777 fleet replaced the older trains.
Made from real carriage metal, not a replica. The metal retains authentic surface marks and patina from its former working life. Our photographs show the actual example and original presentation packaging.

Moquette is super-duper tough. If it gets a bit dirty, a good firm brush should do the job... For something really stubborn try some carpet cleaner. If in doubt - drop us a line.
