Collection: Fossil

Suits and bowlers hats are the order of the day here, as this intricate moquette was commonplace on Metropolitan line trains with compartments in the 1950s. It was also used in the prototype trains which would eventually become the blueprint for the 1962 tube stock. This swirling design of red and green was designed by Richard Eatough and Jack Thompson and is also known as Trilobite. This is one of our fabrics which could be mistaken for being anything but a transport moquette, but its roots are firmly in the capital’s Underground system. Available in a variety of product lines.
